DATA COLLECTION FOR FOOD LOSS INDEX

Abstract

FAO uses multiple approaches to monitor the various aspects of complex issues related to Food loss. This report will provide an outlook to the data collection methods and offers insight to business leaders and sustainability professionals.

It aims to review the key areas of improvement in collecting and assembling the data, giving direction to the organizations, who have the responsibility of assessing and preparing the modules of data collection, and policy making for FAO reporting. It will also enable the inference of new solutions to improve the current methodology, in terms of quality and quantity, by connecting with technology and innovation.
