Plan to save

Plan to save

The #PlanToSave Campaign has inspired millions of people across the world to take a positive action on food, thereby, improving their health and environment.

‘If we fail to plan, we have planned to fail’ is a common phrase which has lost application in the way we approach food, hence, the #PlanToSave campaign is meant to help us rethink our approach to food.

The #PlanToSave Campaign is a call to centre our attention on improving our ways of handling food, whether it’s about how we store different food items,  purchase our food, plan our meals ahead, prioirtise nutritious food, etc.

There is a lot that can be done on a personal and organisational level. All these actions add up to significant changes within the food system for a more sustainable future where the food we eat improves our health and restores our environment.

The #PlanToSave campaign kicked off on 1st December 2022, but you can join anytime.

The PlanToSave campaign runs for 5-weeks providing you an opportunity to impact your life and those around you by sharing information on specific actions to improve our engagement with food on social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.).

By sharing the content of each theme every week, it provides your audience enough time to review the relevance of the theme for their personal life as well as their organisation. The key aim is to raise their awareness on each theme so that they can take positive action based on the knowledge gained.

Your 5-weeks of impact can start anytime. You are welcomed to repeat the 5-week #PlanToSave campaign as many times as you wish.

Do not forget to complete the pop up form to earn your certificate after every 5-week campaign.

Other ways to enhance engagement on the #PlanToSave campaign across your social media platforms include:

  •  Sharing tips on different recipes, or personal stories related to each weekly theme.
  • Setting up quizzes, polls, or challenges related to each weekly theme.
  • Sharing visuals, videos, and infographics related to each weekly theme.

More important, do not forget to use the #PlanToSave.
