Join us to celebrate IntelliDigest 7 years of impact across food systems.

We will be marking the 7 years anniversary as we hold our quarterly webinar – Delivering a Sustainable Food System with Zero Food Waste on September 29 – International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste.

Across the globe, approximately 14 percent of the world’s food, valued at $400 billion is lost on an annual basis between harvest and the retail market (FAO 2019). At the same time, an estimated 17 % of food is wasted at the retail and consumer levels (UNEP, 2021).

Our CEO Dr. Ifeyinwa Kanu said, “The International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste is very important to us as an organisation as the challenge of food loss and waste is an endemic problem that must be addressed to ensure people have access to good food while protecting our environment from further degradation.”

We are pleased to be supporting stakeholders across the food system from farm to fork to adopt more sustainable practices through technology innovation and capacity building. We take pride in inventing the world first bio-upcycling robot to enhance recovery of bio-nutrient from inedible food waste onsite while ensuring that we can reduce edible food waste by automating planning of food production, distribution and consumption through the world food tracker – a multi stakeholder online platform.

Through the Global AgriFood TechPreneur Programme we are supporting young graduates to address food system challenges. With over 600 participants in the 2023 cohort, we are confident that there is hope that we can deliver a sustainable food system.

We love working with you across the food systems. Thank you for your amazing support.
